Born Nov. 11, 1907, in Greenbush to Walter and Bertha Lincoln Ray, he married Marguerite Caulkins on July 26, 1928, in Rozetta. She
survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Duane (Carrol) Watkins of London Mills; two granddaughters she raised, Candy Geronilla of Saudi
Arabia and Carol Bates of Avon; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter and one brother.
He lived most of his life in the Abingdon and Avon area.
He worked at Gates Rubber in Galesburg as an electrician. After his retirement, he worked as a television serviceman.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Avon Cemetery. The Rev. Rick Kerr will officiate. There is no visitation.
Burial will be at Avon Cemetery. Corman Memorial Home in Avon is in charge of arrangements.
