Son of immigrants Jacob and Maria (Krey) Sensenig
Married Elizabeth Burkholder on October 14, 1759.
(Elizabeth was the daughter of Ulrich and Barbara Burkholder. Widow Barbara Burkholder immigrated from Switzerland with her six children in 1754.)
Elizabeth died on August 12, 1782, the day her sixth child was born, and was probably also buried in the Sensenig cemetery but there is no existing marker.
After Elizabeth's death Jacob married Barbara ___ and had three more children. Jacob's will (K1-593) names his second wife and the following children: John, Daniel, Mary, Elizabeth, Anna, Esther, Sara, Feronica, and Jacob Jr.
