Funeral services for Bernice Jean "Jeannie" Wallace, 84, of Friendswood were held Saturday, Oct. 23, 2009, in the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel in Pearland with Douglas Troxell and Bubba Chambers officiating.
A graveside service took place later that day in Minerva.
Mrs. Wallace died on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1925 in Cameron and resided in the Houston area since 1941.
She and her husband, Cliff E. Wallace, were happily married for more than 35 years.
Mrs. Wallace was a people person and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Nenie."
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mason W. and Bernice (Timmons) Longmire; her husband, Cliff E. Wallace; and a grandchild, Morgan Wallace.
Survivors are a son, two daughters, a sister, grandchildren and a nephew and niece, also, many other family and friends, including her friend and neighbor.
