Double/Arthur Jr∼ROGERS -- LaVerne E. Price, 78, of Rogers died Oct. 6, 2008, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Dec. 4, 1929, in Chicago to Reynold and Anna Drews.
She enjoyed hand work and crafts. She was a member of Red Hat Ladies and was active in the Rogers Wellness Center and the Rogers Senior Center. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Arthur R. Price; three daughters, Gail Gill and husband Pilot of Alpharetta, Ga., Janice Prichard and husband Randy of Jenison, Mich., and Diane Platt and husband Dennis of Owosso, Mich.; her brother, John Drews of Kokomo, Ind.; her sister, Leona Drews of Rogers; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers with the Rev. Gordon Besel officiating.
Cremation arrangements are by Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers, online at stockdalefuneral.com.
