Services for James Robert Pollock, 65, were held at Red Top Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Lyons of South Bend assisted by Rev. Joe I. Patterson, pastor of the Graham First Methodist Church.
Mr. Pollock died at his home. He received his education in the schools of Hardin County, Tennessee. He moved to Texas with his family in 1905 settling at Parker County. He became a member of the Methodist Church at Millsap, Texas in 1909 and was a faithful member until his death.
Survived by his wife; four sons - Leonard Pollock, Hubert Pollock, Fritz Pollock, James Pollock; two daughters - Marzelle Newman and Ernestine Roth; 13 grandchildren; two sisters - Annie Ponds and Dollie Ponds.
