Eddie Dean Jr. was born July 28, 1941 in Pensacola, Florida. He was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School and Xavier University of LA. He retired in 2006 from the Detroit Public Schools.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Anthony Dean, Sr. and Mildred Angeline Dean; brother, Charles Kenneth Dean.
Survivors include brothers, Thomas (Ina), Evans, GA; Alfred (Cosima), Park Forest, IL; Patrick (Sharon), New Orleans, LA; James (Shirley), Pensacola, FL; Francis Joseph, Pensacola, FL; one sister, Mary (Edward) Hunter, Jr., East Point, GA; sister-in-law, Tonii Dean, College Park, GA; aunt Margarette Thomas, Pensacola, FL and devoted friends Henry Ferguson, Hampton, GA and Horace Puryear, Pensacola, FL.
Funeral Service will be Monday, January 25th, 2010 at 11am at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery.
