Aaron W. Auker, seventy-five, died at 3 p.m. Monday, at his home, East Main Street, Ephrata, after a lingering illness. He was a member of the Pike Mennonite Church.
Besides his widow, the former Lizzie Gehman, he is survived by these children: Mrs. Mattie Redcay, Narvon; Clay Auker, Clay; Adam Auker, Clements, Md.; Mary, wife of Arthur Buch, Ephrata, R. 2; Lydia, wife of Melvin McGallicher, Bird-in-Hand, and Eva and Bertha Auker, at home. Twenty-two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Davis Auker, Ephrata R. 1, and Benjamin Auker, Ephrata, R. 3, also survive.
Funeral services were held from the late home yesterday (Thursday) afternoon at 1 o'clock, and at the Pike Mennonite Church, at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
