Rhoda Jerden Trickey was the daughter of Charles D. and Sarah Elizabeth [Bryant] Jerden. Her father died during the Civil War. She married James Basley Trickey on November 13, 1879 in Lonoke, Arkansas. They had one child, Rebecca Elizabeth Trickey Shiverdaker Boon, who was born Sept. 30, 1880 in Lonoke, Arkansas. (Note: Rhoda's death date on her headstone is incorrect.)

Rhoda (Jerden) Trickey - Obituary from "The Lawton Constitution," Monday, February 14, 1949:
Mrs. Rhodie Emaline Trickey, 87, died at 2:45 a.m. Monday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. R. (Rebecca] Boon, 2619 I, following a brief illness.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sulphur in the Church of the Nazarene with the minister officiating.
Burial will be in the Oak Lawn cemetery, Sulphur, beside the grave of her husband.
Mrs. Trickey was born in Marion County, Ala., on June 25, 1861. She was married to James B. Trickey at Lonoke, Ark., on November 18, 1879. Mrs. Trickey came to Lawton from Sulphur in April of 1946.
Survivors, in addition to her daughter, include five grandchildren, Mrs. H.C. Pittman, Mill Creek, I.J. Shiverdaker, Amarillo, Texas., Mrs. Kate Stephens, San Pedro, Calif., A.L. Boon, Enid, and Mrs. Ben F. Hill, 409 1/2 D; eight great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Ritter Funeral Home.
