Francis Anderson ws born in Erath County, Texas. He was one of 10 children.

Frank's first wife was Miss Mary Jane Holder. They had one son, Alvah. She preceded him in death on 16 April 1878 at Hood County, Texas.

Frank married his second wife, the widow of his brother Ben Tandy, Mrs. Eliza [Brooks] Tandy.

Frank moved his family to Boggy Creek in Young County, Texas in 1887. He was among the first settlers who bought large tracts of land in northwest Young County. The chimney is all that remains of the home Frank Tandy built in 1894.

Frank later married his third wife, the widow, Mrs. Louella Matilda [Reynolds] Simpson. She had two sons, Wallace and Fuller. Louella died and is buried near her parents.

Frank and Louella had two sons, Oliver Clark Tandy and Sidney Albatine Tandy. Clark and Sidney were farmers until after their marriage.

Frank md Elizabeth J. Brooks Tandy, d/o Hugh & Rachel Brooks 12/28/1881 Hood Co, TX. Their daughter Jennie was born 10/20/1882 Hood Co, TX - died 9/28/1975 Olney, Young Co, TX. Elizabeth Brooks was born 9/29/1854 TX - died 1/8/1884 Hood Co, TX.

His third wife was Jennie Louella Reynolds not Louella Matilda Reynolds. Jennie was born 11/7/1868 Denton Co, TX to John C. & Nancy Medlin Reynolds, & died the 1 Feb 1903 Spring Creek, Throckmorton Co, TX.

He married a fourth time to Matilda A. aft. 1903. She was born abt 1865 TX.
