Ernest was known to have been a Councilman of San Diego in 1946. Ernest and Nellie Boud rest beside each other at San Gorgonio Memorial Park. They died together in 1961 in a freeway car crash. Having no children, they left their estate to the American Red Cross for whom Nellie worked. Good that the American Red Cross gave them a respectful burial and nice monument.
