TROY - Carlisle O. Carr, 76, a longtime Troy resident, died of natural causes Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, at St. John's Lutheran Hospital in Libby. He was born in Troy on Dec. 8, 1925. Carlisle joined the military as a young man and served in World War II from 1944 to 1946 in the Navy and from 1947 to 1950 in the Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores; son, Douglas Carr; and parents, Ellen and Richard.
Survivors include his son, Brian Carr of Troy; daughters, Becky Bauer and Alice Carr, both of Kalispell, and Deanna DeWine of Libby; sister, Myrna Wullger of Libby; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Troy Church of God.
Local arrangements are by the Nelson & Vial Funeral Home in Libby.
