RICHARD G. THOMPSON, 62, a retired building contractor, died at 8:05 a.m. yesterday at Veterans Hospital. Thompson lived at 3309 Kramers Lane and was a veteran of World War I. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Thompson; two sons, Joseph M. and Richard G. Thompson, Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. James Siegwald; four sisters, Misses Jane and Theresa Thompson; Mrs. Abby Miller, and Mrs. J. P. Phillips, and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be at 8:15 a.m. Monday at Heady Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Boulevard, and at 9 a.m. at St. Denis Church. Burial will be in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery.

Beloved husband of Mrs. Elizabeth Brown Thompson; loving father of Mrs. Jane Carolyn Siegwald, Mr. Joseph M., and Mr. Richard G. Thompson Jr.; brother of Miss Jane and Miss Theresa Thompson, Mrs. Abby Miller and Mrs. J. P. Phillips; also surviving, 8 grandchildren. Mr. Thompson is at the Arch L. Heady Southern Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd., where services will be held Monday, at 8:15 a.m., and in St. Denis Church, at 9 o'clock. Interment in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. The members of Holy Name Society of St. Denis Church kindly meet at the funeral home Sunday at 7:30 p.m. to recite the rosary.
