Paul Courson, 84, of rural Kinmundy passed away at 4:45 pm on Thursday,
May 6 1993, at the Clay County Hospital, Flora.
Mr Courson was born on April 19, 1909, in Marion County, the son of Noah
T. and Laura (Slagley) Courson.
He married Zettie Fulfer in January, 1928. She preceeded him in death
on December 2, 1978.
He was a farmer and a member of Meachum Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Paul Jr. of Dieterich; one daughter, Louise
Headlee of Louisville; 11 grandchildren
and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by his wife; one daughter; three brothers; two
sisters and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the Neal Funeral Home, Louisville,
with burial in Courson Cemetery, rural Farina. Memorials may be made to
Meachum Baptist Church.
