The deceased had been ill one week at his home on Central avenue, East Cambridge, before being removed to the hospital By occupation he was a miner and was a member of the East Cambridge Methodist church.
Surviving are seven children, Herschel and Brodie, Akron, Otto, East Cambridge, Carlos, 1107 Blaine avenue, Pauline, East Cambridge, James, Jr., and Bernice of the home. His wife, Maude Burton, died in 1935.
The body was removed to the McMillen funeral home, South tenth street.

MR. BURTON FUNERAL
Rev. John F. McLeod, of the old Cambridge Baptist church will conduct funeral services Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. for James Burton at the home, Central avenue, East Cambridge, and burial will be made in Northwood cemetery. The body will be taken Monday evening from the McMillen funeral home to the family home.
