Jack was born September 2, 1940 in David City, Nebraska to Roy and Blanche (McCracken) McKnight. He passed away January 21, 2010 in Broken Arrow, OK.

He worked for and retired from Wood Group Esp. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. Jack enjoyed camping with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patsy of the home; daughters, Tina Blount of Sand Springs, Kellie McKnight of Tulsa, and Jackie Lynn McKnight of Broken Arrow; son, Chase McKnight of the home; grandchildren, Steven, Mikel, and Darrell Matlock, Abby, Laura, and Tammy Blount; sister, Mary Lou White and husband Harvey of Honolulu, HI and their children, nephew, Mike McKnight and wife Wanda of Foyil; great-nephew, Roy McKnight and wife Misha and their children; great niece, Shannon Lester and husband Donnie of Claremore and their children, many other nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Netcsia Mounce; father, Roy McKnight; mother, Blanch McKnight; sister, Virgene Elliott; and brother, Lloyd McKnight.

Funeral Services for Jackie Lee "Jack" McKnight, 69, of Broken Arrow, will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, OK. Interment will be in the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
