Former substitute school teacher Teresa Charlene Carver Arnold, 52, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at Bruceton Life Care Center. The cause of her death was not given.

The body was cremated.

A memorial service is scheduled at 4 p.m. Saturday at Springhill Baptist Church, where she was a member. Fred Shackelford, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow in McRae Chapel Cemetery at Big Sandy.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the church. McEvoy Funeral Home is in charge.

Born July 14, 1957, in Albany, GA, she was the daughter of Charles Roy and Benita June Mills Carver of Paris.

She was married on March 30, 1979, to Stassen Eron Arnold, who died Aug. 7, 2001.

A 1975 Henry County High School graduate, Arnold was a former substitute school teacher at Henry School.

She leaves one daughter: Shelly Arnold (Kendell) Sutton of Henry; one son: Jason Arnold of Paris; one stepdaughter: Tammy Hudson of Paris; one stepson: Kris Arnold of Jackson; and one brother: Charles "Chuck" (Kim) Carver of Paris.
