Mrs. Fletcher Thomas
After a year's illness Mrs. Fletcher Thomas, 86, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her son, Enos Thomas.
Mrs. Thomas was the widow of Rev. Thomas, a United Brethren preacher and circuit rider, who was well and prominently known throughout this section. He died 12 years ago.
Mrs. Thomas, whose maiden name was Mary Jane Brown, was born in 1837. She was married in 1853. Two of the three children born to them died. Surviving besides the one son are four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the residence. Burial will be in Oaklawn cemetery.
