LOIS R. PIPER
Lois R Piper, 75 of Roodhouse, died Thursday, March 19, 2015, at her home.
She was born Nov 12, 1939 in Athensville, the
daughter of Carl and Florence (Mayberry) Alexander. She married Jerry L Piper on Jan 29, 1958 in White Hall and he survives.
She is also survived by a daughter, Sherry(Rick)Graham of Roodhouse, and a son, Jeffrey(Jennifer) of Cypress, California; 13 grandchildren, Kristi Gilmore, Brandi Martin, Kayli Lange, Erin Peacock, Alicia Riley, Olivia Hand, Brett Shive, Maria Piper, Kelsey Piper, Austen Manley, Karley Piper, Jacob Piper and Julia Piper; along with eight great-grandchidlren and one due in November; and a sister Peggy Elliott of Granby, Missouri.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents; and three
sons, Michael, David and Bryan Piper.
Lois worked at the Roodhouse Envelope
Company, then layer as a bus driver for North Greene School District. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Winchester.
Lois was loved by all who knew her, and she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Roodhouse with burial at Athensville Cemetery.
Visitation
will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at at the funeral home.
