Mrs. China Fuller Has Passed Away
Mrs. China Ann Goodin was born May 3 , 1858, in Mercer County, Missouri. Departed this life March 25, 1938, at the home of her son Edward Fuller, east of Jones, Okla., at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 22 days. She was united in marriage to William Fuller, Mary 23, 1873, at Princeton, Missouri. To his union were born five children of whom two survive, two having died in infancy and one, Jessie, having died this past summer. In early life she united with the Methodist church and has lived a consecrated life from that time until her departure. She was held in the highest esteem by all whom she came in contact with, at all times being kind and considerate. Never once during her illness did she lose her patience or her faith. She expressed her desire before her death to go home to glory where she could look upon the face of her Savior, and upon the face of loved ones who had preceded her, assuring everyone she was ready to go. Mrs. Fuller is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C. H. Duvall of Big Springs, Tex., and one son Edward fuller, with whom she lived. She also leaves 13 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two nieces, six nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church in Jones, Rev. George McCoy officiating. Burial was held in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
