The Evans County native was a member of East Side Baptist Church, Claxton. She was a homemaker and the widow of R.E. Ambrose.
SURVIVORS: a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Dennis Swart of Savannah; three sons and four daughters-in-law, Jerry Ambrose of Yorktown, Va., George and Marty Ambrose of Jonesboro, Harry and Angela Ambrose of Bellville, Wilma Ambrose of Claxton and Martha Tucker of Bellville; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Cobb Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Cobb Funeral Home, burial in Brewton Cemetery, Hagan.
