Christopher M. Bays, 27, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010. He was born February 4, 1982, in Evansville.
He graduated from North High School in 2000 and worked for Bays Remodeling. Chris was an outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and camping. Chris spent his life loving and caring for everyone he knew. He was the first to help anyone in need. He loved growing and caring for flowers.
Chris is survived by his fiancee, Becky Ray; parents, Richard J. and Linda S. Bays of Henderson, Ky.; sister, Angie Bays and fiance, Troy Weimer; grandmother, Burtie Ward of Evansville; grandmother, Mary Bays of Evansville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services 10 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Michael Ice, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
