Stephen was a life long resident of Indianapolis and a retired drywall contractor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters Tina and Barbara Holmes and a brother Bob White.
Survivors include his significant other, Judy Ousley; 4 sons, Stephen Holmes, Jr., Rick (Terri) Holmes, Mike (Angie) Holmes and Chris Holmes; daughter, Angie (Jerry) Holmes-Prindiville; 2 brothers, Fred White and John White; a sister, Sharon (Wayne) Melton; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchildren; and former wife, Jacee Holmes-Mills.
