Dr. Edward Eve married Sarah Jane Raiford on February 16, 1807 in Richmond County, Georgia.

First graduate of the Medical College of Georgia,(founded in 1828) Augusta, Georgia, where his older brother, Dr. Joseph Adams Eve, was a founding Professor, and his cousin, Dr. Paul FitzSimons Eve was the Dean.
