William Clarence "Dub" Hogue, Jr., 77, of White Hall died Saturday, May 24, 2003, at White Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born February 1, 1926, in Monticello to the late William Clarence Hogue, Sr., and the late Annie Halley Hogue. He was reared and received his early education in Watson Chapel and attended Watson Chapel high School.

He retired in 1989 as a car salesman for Welch Motor Company in Pine Bluff, During his working life he was also employed with Fox Brothers Hardware Company and Jack Dean Appliance Center.

Mr. Hogue was a member of Olive Street Baptist Church and a Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bobby and Harold Frank Hogue; and two sisters, Martha Albright and Mildred Shollmier.

His survivors include one son, W. C. "Bubba" Hogue, III of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Brenda Ratcliff of Sheridan, Arkansas, and Diane Davis of Sheridan; two stepsons, Chuck Pharr of Springdale, Arkansas, and Bobby Pharr of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one stepdaughter, Brenda Stallings of Batesville, Arkansas; one sister, Virginia Fort of Little Rock; seven grandchildren and seven stepgrandchildren.

Services were held in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Kedron, Arkansas.
