On the mantel of the back of the casket were arranged Easter lilies, yellow roses and Mayflowers. At the head stood an anchor of calla lilies and roses sent by Mr. and Mrs. James McGlaughlin of Laconia; and at the foot of the casket, a basket of cut flowers from Misses Sadie and Lottie Flanders.
Although for so many years a sufferer, she rarely spoke of her own pain and was ready to do for others whatever she could. A true and loving friend, a tender sister and an affectionate daughter, it will be difficult to find one who will fill her place either in the home circle or among her friends, but having passed beyond pain into the light of His presence what is our loss is her gain..
The remains were placed in the tomb at Trinity Churchyard. The Plymouth Record, April 26, 1890, p5.
