Fannie Lou Butler

(ROANOKE) Services for Fannie Lou Butler, 90, of Roanoke will be Saturday, April 12, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Frank Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Saturday, April 12, from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Butler died Thursday, April 10, at her home.

Mrs. Butler is survived by her husband, Kermit Butler of Roanoke; one son, Morgan Butler of Scottsboro; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Midylene Banks of LaGrange, Ga.; four nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Brad King, Will Butler, Jim Butler, Brannon Powell, Nick French, Morgan Butler, Bob Moses and Bo Yarbrough.

Mrs. Butler was born Sept. 8, 1917, the daughter of Ronie and Ida Burgess Yarbrough. She was a member of Rock Mills Methodist Church and in business with her husband at Butler Watch & Jewelry for several years. Her parents preceded Mrs. Butler in death.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Rock Mills Methodist Church.
