WATERFORD Alexander R. Bressette, 74, of Clemente Lane, died Saturday, December 16, 2006 at St.

Mary's Hospital. Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late George and Juliette Sevigny Bressette and was educated at the former Keveny Memorial Academy. Alex had been employed for 25 years at the Mohawk Paper Mills in Waterford and retired in 1998. Prior to that, he was employed at the Waterford Water Works. Currently, he was employed by the Town of Waterford at the Visitors Center at Waterford Harbor and the Senior Center. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and served during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Margaret LeMay Bressette; his children, Jeffrey G. Bressette and his wife Erin of Cohoes, Beverly A. Bressette, Amy R. Farrigan and her husband Ronald of Waterford and Corey L. Bressette and his wife MaryEllen of Ballston Lake. He was brother of Lillian Peat, Cecile Harrigan, both of Waterford, Edmund Bressette of Washington and the late Eileen Baillargeon; seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rt. 32), Waterford. Interment will be in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Monday 4-8 p.m.
