Rice, who died a number of years ago. In addition to his medical practice Dr. Rice has served as both city and county health officer and was for many years a member of the Rogers school board, serving as the president of the board a goodly share of the time. A conscientious worker in everything he undertook, Dr. Rice has been a force for better living and better schools in Benton county and his memory will be honored by the large circle of teacher and pupils with whom he came into contact during his years of service as county health officer.
