Miss Pollock, who had been visiting Mrs. Adah Pedrette, 1214 N. East St., fractured a hip in a fall on North Main Street June 14. Coroner Joseph Hallett said Wednesday that he will hold an inquest.
Miss Pollock was taken to the Murray-Stamper Memorial Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
She was born and raised in Danville and had taught and supervised a cottage at the Illinois Soldiers' and Sailors' Children's School in Normal for many years. She supervised a cottage for about 20 years and left the school about several years ago.
Surviving are three nephews and a niece, Mrs. Roy Allen, Green Bay, Wis."
