Daughter of Fred and Jennie DeWitt Reed and the widow of Robert D. "Bob" Maxwell. She taught art and second grade and was a member of the Hot Spring Village Crystal Chimes. She was of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. "Bob" Maxwell; a sister, Frances Moran; a brother, Robert Reed;
She is survived by her three children; Robert Reed Maxwell, Jennifer Sue Maxwell Curtis and husband, Billy, Michael Lee Maxwell and wife Elizabeth; three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, January 22, 2010 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with interment in Crestview Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Robert Maxwell, Michael Maxwell, Billy Curtis, Chad Catlett, Zachary Maxwell and Luke Maxwell.
