Mrs. Hamilton was born September 22, 1953, in Gilmer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Hamilton; father, G.J. Puckett; sons, Barry Hamilton and J.J. Hamilton; brother, Odell Puckett; and sister, Sandra Richardson.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2009, at the funeral home.

Services for Karen Jeanette Hamilton, of Gladewater, will be at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Burial will be in Gladewater Memorial Park.
