Moved to the England area about 1918.Wife of Leonard Ernest Krisell, Mother of 12 children, Leonard, Jennie Pearl, James Othel, Wayne "Billy", Martha, Herbert, Lavern, Mary Opal, Ellen Mae, William "Buddy", Clara Faye, Ernest Junior.

In her early years not only did she keep the house but also worked the garden, I have heard many stories from my aunts, she must have been a strong women in her day.

She was a true Granny to all her many grandchildren. Her hair was waist long always braided and Wrapped around the top of her head. Her attire was always a dress with and apron,so she could remove the apron and always be ready for company.

Jennie always used the almanac to plant her garden, take her children off the bottle, and care for her family. She thought one aspirin and black drought could cure anything...

In her later years cooking for her grown children and preparing her grand children's favorite foods when they came to visit was a highlight in her life. She loved to watch her soap operas and call her friends and discuss what happened.

I still miss her and think of her often.

The following info by Sonja Krisell.
Her death date says she was born in 1891 when she was actually born in 1892. On the 1900 US Census which was taken in June it stated she was born in Sep 1892 and was 7 years old.
