Note from Judi McGarvey, findagrave contributor (#47550134): After the publication of volume I of “Fairfax County, Virginia Gravestones,” (1994) by Fairfax Genealogical Society, County Historian Milburn Sanders contacted the society with a few corrections and new information. He stated that although Claudius Sanders’ name is on the family monument, according to family tradition, he was buried in an unmarked grave in Andrew Chapel Cemetery.
