TROY, N. Y., June 27. --- James G. Esmond, Watervliet, former professional baseball player, died last night in Troy Hospital. Around 1910 he was with the Cincinnati Reds and the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1914 and 1915 he was in the Federal League. He also had been with Albany, Montreal and Jersey City. His wife, Mrs. Mary Brennan Esmond, and two daughters, survive.
