Mrs. Tudor was born on July 31, 1916 in Jackson County and was the daughter of the late William and Jenny Bowling Medlock. She was a retired business lady and was the former postmistress of the Tyner, Kentucky Post Office. She was a former member of the Board of Directors, Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center, a member of The First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was the widow of Clyde Rice and Harry Tudor.
Survivors include: two sons: Fred Rice (Sue) of Naples, Florida and Gordon Rice (Victoria) of Richmond; one step-son: H. Thomas Tudor (Alene) of Richmond; four grandchildren: Linda Rice and Jerry W. Rice of Louisville, Cindy Rice Grissom (Greg) of Prospect, Kentucky and Gordon Michael Rice (Beth) of Richmond; two step-grandchildren: Mary Tom Hamrick (Clay) and Jennifer Tudor; six great-grandchildren: Sarah Megan Grissom, Justin Rice Grissom, Sada Kathryn Rice, Simon Thomas Rice, Jadelyn Vaughn Rice and Tresslyn Elise Rice; three step-great-grandchildren: Mary Clay Hamrick, Mason Hamrick and Elijah Tudor; a sister-in-law: Thelma Rice Bowman; her caregivers: Wanda Foster, Flossie Hackler, and Helen Short; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Dan Medlock, two sisters: Hazel Medlock Pennington and Marie Medlock Casteel and a step-daughter: Barbara Tudor Griggs.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday at The First Baptist Church, 425 Eastern ByPass with Rev. Bill Fort officiating. Burial will follow in the Anville-Medlock Cemetery, Anville, Kentucky.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Monday at the church.
