Clement V. Holler, 73, retired Baltimore and Ohio passenger conductor, died this morning at 6:05 o'clock in the home, 174 Elmwood avenue for several months.
He was born in Licking county Aprilg 8, 1863, the son of Elias and Mary Jane Holler, he entered the transportation services of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad company March 22, 1888, as a brakeman and was made a freight conductor Nov. 19, 1896. He was promoted to passenger Nov. 12, 1915, and remained in the service in that capacity until Sept. 25, 1931, when he was retired. He was a member of Acme lodge, F. & A. M. and Warren chapter; also the Elks lodge.
He is survived by two brothers, Elmer Holler of Akron, Burr Holler of Leesburg, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Harrison of the home.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Fitzsimmons company funeral home. Rev. Louis Lammers will conduct the service and burial will be made in Cedar Hill cemetery.
