Abraham was the son of Sarah Walton and John Perry, III from Bertie County, North Carolina, Colonial America.

He was in the Revolutionary War where he also led a colorful life having affairs. He was considered a powerful man, which most reseach points out.

Abram married Anne Askew, daughter of Aaron Askew of Bertie County, North Carolina, Colonial America, in 1760.
He had two children with wife Anne: Sarah Perry, their oldest daughter who married William Stone and their youngest daughter Priscilla who married William Stone. They were the sons of Benjamin Stone, who lived adjacent to the Perry's.

Abraham did father several illegitimate children during his affairs with other women. However, Mary Robinson of Martin County, was his Mistress, with whom he fathered three children: Arnold "Arlan" Perry Robinson, Ascentha "Sena" Perry Robinson, and Elizabeth "Betsy" Perry Robinson. Abram never gave them his last name on property deeds that he gave to them as inheritance. Mary Robinson was always Mary Robinson on documents, where she received land from Abram.

His other affairs produced a daughter by Mary Madre and a daughter by Elizabeth Hollum. They also received deeds on property in Bertie County.

Son Arnold "Arlan" Perry Robinson changed his name ro Arnold Robinson Perry after his father's sudden death.

Abraham was working on his plantation when struck by lightening. He and his him wworkers were weathering out the storm, under a large tree. He was only fifty-three years old.

Abram was a planter and shoemaker, another business venture that brought him much capital. He inherited property in Perrytown, which was founded by his grandfather, from his grandfaher and father. Some land he purchased himself.

Abraham "Abram" Perry is the GGGGrandfather of Lee Perry Warren. Abraham had a son Arnold "Arlan" Robinson Perry who had a son Nathaniel "Nathan" Perry, who had a son Arnold Jackson "A J" Perry, who had a son Mose Dee Moses Perry. who had a son Selby Perry, who is the father of Lee Perry Warren.Husband Of:
