Funeral services were held Saturday, May 23, 1964, at 2:30 p.m. from the First Christian Church in Newcastle for George A. Terrell, 76, a retired oil lease broker and lifelong resident of True and Newcastle, with Rev. Don Campbell, pastor of First Christian Church in Olney, officiating, assisted by Rev. R.D. Williams, pastor of Newcastle Baptist Church and Rev. E.C. Hewitt, pastor of Newcastle Methodist Church.

George Anderson Terrell married 5 January 1913, to Dora Watson, at the home of her parents. She preceded him in death June 18, 1959.

He united with the First Christian Church at an early age. He was an active member of the Fort Belknap Genealogical Society and Fort Belknap Society. George was a progressive citizen and was always behind any progressive movement for the betterment of the community in action and deeds. He was an optimist, never looking at the dark side, being cheerful and congenial at all time, and generous to his fellow man.

Survivors are one son - Wendell Terrell; one granddaughter; two sisters - Mrs. E.H. Remington, Mrs. C.G. Watson; two brothers - W.P. Terrell, Lloyd Terrell.
