Mrs. Heflin passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2010. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monroe, LA. In her early years, Mrs. Heflin was an avid bowler who bowled with the Budweiser Bowling Team. She also loved taking care of her flower garden. Mrs. Heflin is preceded in death by her husband, Reid Heflin; five brothers and one sister.
Survivors include her sons, Bernard Heflin and wife Gin of Monroe, LA, and Ron Heflin and wife Sue of Richardson, TX; grandchildren, Lori H. Bell and husband, Brian, Robyn H. Howell and husband Paul, Rogge Heflin and Brodie Heflin; three great grandchildren, Brandon and Lauren Bell and Matthew Howell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Vernon Henson, Joe Butler, Bobby Cortez, George Madison, Brodie Heflin and Rogge Heflin.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Monroe Building Fund.
