Kathryn Wilma Albaugh, born June 6, 1901, in New Cumberland, Tuscarawas Co., Ohio, and died single on March 21, 1968. Her family came to Canton when she was 6 weeks old. She played the piano, sang, and was mechanically minded. She dated but never married a Mr. Harry Gluht from 1920 till he died died in January 14, 1958. She worked for Canton Laundry, Arctic Ice Company, Lighting Fixture Company, Pennsylvania Rial Road, (Eastern Division, 2 years), Hoover Company who sent her to Cincinnati Conservatory of Music to study voice, Ohio Power Company, 2 years, Dunn & Bradstreet 12 years; did bookkeeping for Maytag Rice Company, worked for Deputy Clerk in Stark County, and Clerk of Courts for 31 years.

Miss Kathryn W. Albaugh, 66, who made her home with a sister, Mrs. Dimitry P. Niconoff of 806 32nd Street NE, died there this morning after several month's illness. A life resident of Canton, Miss Albaugh had been employed as a deputy clerk in the Stark County Clerk of Courts office for 31 years. She was a member of the first Christian Church.
She is survived by four other sisters, Mrs. R. W. (Mildred) Pontius of Visilia, California; Mrs. L. E. (Marcia) Irons of Canton; Mrs. K. C. (Eleanor) Steadman and Mrs. J. F. (Elizabeth) Swearengin, both of Tucson, Arizona. Rev. Harold L. Davis will conduct services Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Spiker Funeral Home. Burial will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery.
