Services for Mrs. Dorothy Prewitt, 82, of Rayville, LA were 3 PM, Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Cedar Baptist Church Archibald, LA with Rev. Mike Loveday officiating. Internment followed in Prewitt Cemetery near Mangham, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Prewitt, a founding member of Cedar Baptist Church, passed away Monday, January 4, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence Prewitt, a son Neal Prewitt and a brother Woody Smith.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Speight and her husband George, and Gail Prewitt; one son, Buddy Prewitt and his wife Patsy, and her brother Raymond Smith, all of Rayville, LA; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Stevie Gray, Terry Gray, Sammy Smith, Carey J. Ellis, Bob Mullins and Danny Gibson.
