Mrs. Anna Laverne Stilwell, age 66, of Hardinsburg, died Thursday, September 3, 1998, at T. J. Sampson Community
Hospital in Glasgow, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Stilwell was born July 28, 1932 [note: printed 1998] in
Breckinridge County, a daughter of the late Sam and Ollie Edwards Clark. She was a member of the Trinity Full
Gospel Church.
Surviving are her husband, James L. Stilwell; a daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Harold Birge, Glasgow; sisters,
Virginia Cahill and Margie Hidgon, Louisville; a brother, the Rev. Hubert Clark, Leitchfield; and two grandsons.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 5 at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, with the
Rev. Gerald Elliott officiating. Burial was in Hudson Cemetery
