Joseph Michael Kuklinski (May 5, 1944 – September 22, 2003) was a criminal convicted of raping and murdering a 12-year-old girl. From New Jersey, he was of Polish and Irish ancestry. He was the brother of the notorious contract killer, Richard Kuklinski.
Joseph Kuklinski was in prison from October 22, 1971 until his death on September 22, 2003. He was incarcerated in the same prison as his brother Richard.
Son of Stanley and Anna Kuklinski. Joseph Kuklinski was also preceded in death by his brother, Florian, who died as a child. Stanley was a severely abusive alcoholic who beat his wife and children. Anna was also abusive to her children, sometimes beating them with broom handles. In 1940, Stanley's beatings resulted in the death of Kuklinski's older brother, Florian. Stanley and Anna hid the cause of the child's death from the authorities, saying he had fallen down a flight of steps.
