CHRISTIE, David H. Age 81, of Bellbrook, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Southview Hospital. David was born on July 22, 1925 in Marathon, Ohio to Thomas W. and Iva L. (Prall) Christie. He was preceded in death by his son Gary Christie, his parents, siblings Virgil, Clarence, Julius, Marvin, Earl, Wendell, Geraldine, and Viola. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Audrey (Brown) Christie; two daughters Donna Van Why and her husband Sam, Castle Rock, CO, Sherry Pichler and her husband John, Dallas, TX; Five grandchildren Melissa, Stacey, Jennifer, Lauren, and Michael; great grandchildren Jasmine, Josie, and Alex; his brother Russell; and numerous nieces and nephews. David was employed by Delco Products for over 35 years. Friends may call from 1-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. with the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. The Reverend Pamela E. Gaylor officiating. Interment Bellbrook Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to any hearing or blind impaired program of your choice.
