Services were held at 2 pm Saturday at White's Funeral Home in Springtown. Burial was in Springtown Cemetery. Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield made the arrangements.
Mr. Elam was born Sept 20, 1914, in Parker County and was a lifelong Springtown resident. He was a farmer and rancher in the Springtown/Agnes area. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Stella Faye Elam of Springtown; sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Olivia Elam of Azle and Joe and Gloria Elam of Agnes; granddaughters, Donna Torres and Ronda Christian, both of Fort Worth; grandson, Jeffrey Elam and Danny Elam, both of Fort Worth; and great-grandson, Barlow Christian of Fort Worth.
