Peter E. Brase Buried At Worms Saturday -

Funeral services for Peter E. Brase were conducted Saturday afternoon in the Trinity Lutheran church in Grand Island by the Rev. Walter E. Buss, assistant pastor of the church. Two hymns were sung by Mrs. Vernon G. Nelson, accompanied by Otto Becker.

A prayer service for the family was conducted at the Geddes funeral home prior to the church services.

Pallbearers were Alert Kurz, Arnold Dammann, Theodore Dankert, Charles Bosselman, Walter Quandt, and Reinhart Quandt. Burial was in Zion Lutheran cemetery in Worms. (List of out-of-town attendees followed.)

Mr. Brase died Wednesday, March 16, in Grand Island at the home of his son, Martin and family, at 83 years of age. He and his family resided at Worms from 1897 to 1937, operating a grocery store there most of that time. Mrs. Brase died December 28, 1948.
