Bessie Hales Parks Bailey Fowler, a resident of Forest Manor Nursing Home, died Friday, March 22, 2002. The daughter of Mr & Mrs. George Rufus Parks, she was born in Greene County, July 11, 1913.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Thomas Waddell Bailey, Sr., and Jesse W. Fowler; brother, George Roy Parks, and sisters, Mildred Thornton Vaughn, Mary Blande Johnson, Gladys George, and Hazel Brown Upchurch.
Mrs. Fowler worked in the office of Perry Creamery for 31 years before her retirement. She is survived by her children, Mary Anne (Ronald) Rogers, of Prattville and Thomas W. (Robin) Bailey, Jr., of Northport, 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Family visitation will be Sunday, March 24th at 3:00 p.m. at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home and graveside services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
