Westmoreland, Jan. 5 - Mrs. Alice Estella Davis Howland, 60 wife of Alfred, J. Howland. dies Thursday at her home. 16 Sauquoit St., Whitesboro, after a, short illness. She was born in Sherbourne. March 27, 1879, and her marriage, to Mr. Howland took place July 4. 1902 in Whitesboro Baptist Church. She was a member of Walesville Baptist Church and; had lived in Whitesboro for many years. She often visited her daughter. Mrs. Thomas Wetherill in this village. Surviving are her husband; a son, Roy Howland, Yorkville; the daughter in this village; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Leslie Marshall. Utica; three brothers, Ezra Davis, Fulton, George Davis, Clark Mill, and Elmer Davis, New York Mills.
