Born in Elyria, raised in Cleveland. Moved to El Cajon in 1975. Was a secretary for a local public school district in California and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in LaMesa, California. Survived by nephew Arthur West of Mayfield Hts., Ohio; a niece Mary Jean Herdey of Pine River, Minnesota; longtime companion Frank Nadrasky; many cousins.
