Born in Spredlingen, Rhein-Hessen Germany. A member of the Reformed Church, one of two trustees on the deed which was granted for a piece of ground to be used as a burial place and to erect a house of worship on. The ground was in Middletown at the corner of High and Pine Streets. He and many of his descendants buried here. By occupation he was a blacksmith and when St. Peter's Lutheran Church was built in 1767, he did the smith work for it. Name on the papers this information taken from name spelled Philip Baltimore.
